“Procesos y Escalas”
Apuestas por una nueva mereología social

El objetivo de este escrito es caracterizar los aportes de una nueva vertiente del pensamiento antropológico denominada relacionismo, que invita a abandonar lo que se considera como el todo y las partes. Para esta tarea se realizó una revisión teórica de los debates contemporáneos de esta disciplina para sistematizar sus principales postulados. Como resultado, se observa que, desde esta perspectiva analítica, el objeto de estudio es considerado como emergente; segundo, los modelos causales son redefinidos a partir de la lógica de los procesos; por último, la noción de contexto es reconfigurada a través del mapeo de escalas. Este escrito permite concluir que el abandono de la oposición cultura/naturaleza por medio de los aportes del relacionismo conduce a la transformación de las premisas y las estrategias que guían la investigación antropológica.
