Abstract

The present work is about the theoretical-methodological aspects used in the research, which it is approached from the perspective of the interior design and is called as residential architecture during the Porfiriato located in the Colonia Reforma in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Taking as a sample the building located on the street of José Guadalupe Zuno corner Marsella, better known as “Villa Esperanza” work of the engineer Alfredo Navarro Branca in the early twentieth century, where the ways of life and socio-cultural aspects as determinants in the arrangement of the interior space will be analyzed and interpreted.
