Abstract

In this article, an analysis will be made regarding the de-indexing of the minimum wage as a unit of measurement other than its labor remuneration, creating the Unit of Measure and Update for the calculation of fines and credits of any legal nature; as well as its possible contribution to the increases. The methods of calculations and units of measurements of Belgium and Australia, countries with the highest minimum wages, will be analyzed in order to verify if the implementation of units of measurement other than salary has generated significant increases to the mentioned emoluments of those States.
