Abstract

So far the intercultural model superior education for Mexico has received a lot of criticism from many academic fields. The goal of this research is to describe and analyze the points of view of the students from the intercultural chiapas university UNICH for its letters in Spanish about such
model of education and the inculturality as such. Using qualitative methods interviewing the
students from the UNICH (for its letters in Spanish), they are questioned about what do they take first in to acount on interculturallity. It is concluded that the interpretations about the the intercultural
model and interculturallity vary and can even be contradictory. This takes us to question the
consolidation of the intercultural speech on the UNICH and, quite possibly, this also happens at other intercultural universities in Mexico.
