Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the history topic and political promote of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) in the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandona Jungle, through Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD) and Theory of relevance. The result of this article is that this declaration is a call for a sympathetic social group to join the “Other Campaign” that faces the candidates of the 2006 elections in Mexico; and legitimize the political praxis of “Mandar obedeciendo”, by having a call addressed to the interested citizen.
