THE SEED FAIR RETURNS, CHACSINKIN, 2002-2022

Abstract

The seed fair held this year at Chacsinkín, Yucatán, a community where this process of exchangw and celebration of milpa seeds began 20 years ago, is exposed with photographs and a brief text. It refers to the background and organization of the fair, the actors involved, the ceremonies and the sequence of the event. The material comes from participatory observation of the authors at the seed fair.
