Abstract

The Ladies of Eternity is a black and white photographic collection that describes the daily life of the women of the Yucatec Mayan community of Ixil, Yucatán. This work focused on the daily work and in the ancestral knowledge of these people. It is considered that those witnesses of history and culture, and safeguard this knowledge that is transmitted to their descendants.
