Abstract

In this paper we present some features of the cult of the Sick Child Doctor performing at Tepeaca de
Negrete, small town in central Puebla state. We analyzed the issues of space and time; religious practices
performed by believers as pilgrimages, rituals related to diseases of the devotees; processes sacredness of
the spaces and cultural activities, among others. Such cultural and social events take place at the annual
festival each April 30th.
