Abstract

This study was performed in a high school in Mexico City, whose objective was to identify the knowledge, thoughts and opinions of students studying the fifth semester of the course on the subject of psychology on the subject of violence in teenage couple. A questionnaire was designed and applied with nine reagents that considered the three categories of interest; this was validated by a group of high school students and two experts. It was applied to 100 students. It was found that students identify primarily physical violence, minimizing psychological violence and neglecting sexual and economic violence. They showed lack of knowledge favoring a holistic conception of the subject, thus, making it impossible to have opinions that reflect relationships that exclude violence and elements to identify risk factors in their relationships.
